Annual tradition of the Christmas song recording sesh with reluctant loved ones was this year upheld— promise!— except “Jingle Bell Rock” was kind of a rhythmic bust where the parents were concerned. You can’t say we didn’t try. In lieu: a motivational song for the new year.
N.B. my mama’s pronouncing “live” the wrong way, and dad’s accidental solo. Instrumental accompaniments include: ukulele, guitar, and a percussive bottle o rice.
